Cincinnati, OH – The Iowa Heartlanders (1-5-1-0, 3 pts.) complete a three-in-three weekend and look for revenge at the Cincinnati Cyclones (3-2-0-0, 6 pts.) Saturday at 7:35 p.m.In the first matchup between the clubs Thursday, the Cyclones scored the last three goals to come from behind and win, 5-3. The Heartlanders received a pair of rookie goals in the contest from Kyle Thacker and Jonathan Desbiens.Friday at Indy, Iowa scored three goals in the first period but lost, 6-3. Joe Widmar scored for the second straight game Friday and now has six points (2g). Jack Billings leads the Heartlanders with four goals and seven points. The final four matchups of the season series are in March and April. The Cyclones visit the Heartlanders Mar. 25-26.- Saturday’s game is the first of six “three-in-threes” the Heartlanders have. The next time Iowa plays on three consecutive days is Jan. 7-9 at Rapid City. The Cyclones are also completing a three-in-three.
