Coralville, Iowa - The Iowa Heartlanders and MC22 (channel 22, 722 and 822) announced that a brand-new weekly show "In the Heartland" will debut Nov. 9 and run every Tuesday throughout the ECHL hockey season. The show will give insight from Heartlanders coaches and players as the team plays its inaugural ECHL season. The Heartlanders are proud affiliates of the Minnesota Wild and Iowa Wild.In episode 1, Head Coach Gerry Fleming and defenseman Jeff Solow provide insight into the Heartlanders start of the season with engaging segments such as "Xs and Os" and "Highlight Review."The Heartlanders and MC22 are also broadcasting seven more games this season following the success of the team's Opening Night broadcast: Nov. 27, Dec. 11, Jan. 29, Feb. 12, Mar. 12, Mar. 26, Apr. 9.
