The club is on pace for 103 points, the most in team history. First-year Head Coach Duncan Dalmao took over as interim Head Coach Mar. 14, 2022 and has a career record of 32-14-1-0.Indy is also off to their second-best 30-game start in team history, narrowly behind the 2020-21 Fuel team that had 44 points in their first 30 games. Finally some games at XtreamThis week is the first time Indy is visiting Xtream Arena for more than one game since the Heartlanders joined the ECHL in 2021-22. Last season, the clubs played three times, but all were one-game visits from Indy. Coming into this week, seven of the ten all-time meetings were at Indy, where the Heartlanders had a 1-5-1-0 record. By contrast, Iowa went 2-1-0-0 last season against the Fuel at Xtream Arena. Iowa hosts Indy six times this season: three times this week, Feb. 8, Feb. 22 and Mar. 10.
