Iowa acquires experienced forward Nault from Florida

Coralville, Iowa – The Iowa Heartlanders, proud ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild and Iowa Wild, announced Tuesday the team has acquired forward Kamerin Nault from the Florida Everblades in exchange for future considerations.

A fifth-year professional from Winnipeg, MB, Nault has scored one goal in three games this season with Florida. He brings 111 games of ECHL experience (39g, 75 pts., 54 PIM). Nault stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 194 pounds. 

Beyond his ECHL time, Nault has earned a handful of AHL call-ups to Manitoba and Charlotte (5 career AHL games). 

Nault’s best offensive season as a professional came in 2019-20, when he posted 32 points (16g) in 40 games for Greenville. 

Iowa visits Cincinnati on Fri., Nov. 3 at 6:35 p.m. and Sat., Nov. 4 at 6:35 p.m.

The Heartlanders start a six-game home stand on Wed., Nov. 8 at 6:35 p.m. vs. Kalamazoo. The team takes on Kalamazoo on Wed., Nov. 8 at 6:35 p.m., Thurs., Nov. 9 at 6:35 p.m. and Sat., Nov. 11 at 6:05 p.m. The next week, Iowa is home three times against Utah. On Wed., Nov. 15, it’s Field Trip Day pres. by MidAmerican Energy Company, with a special 10:35 a.m. puck drop. The Heartlanders host the Grizzlies again for Military Appreciation Night pres. by GreenState Credit Union on Fri., Nov. 17 at 6:35 p.m. and then complete the six-game homestand on Sat., Nov. 18 vs. Utah at 6:05 p.m.
