The Iowa Heartlanders hosted an exclusive meet-the-team and townhall event for Rose Club Season Ticket Members Wednesday at Xtream Arena, the first time the team has ever held such an event at Xtream Arena. The event was held before the Heartlanders kick off the 2023-24 season on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 6:35 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 20 at 6:35 p.m. vs. Rapid City at Xtream Arena, with tickets available to both games.
The outing happened for multiple reasons, but the main theme was to thank Rose Club Members for their continued support as the Heartlanders have transitioned to new ownership under Heartlanders Hockey LLC. Additionally, the excitement and energy of the event is one of the many great things about becoming a member of the Heartlanders Rose Club community. Finally, those that made it out to the event received a number of notable items strictly for Rose Club Members.
- Season Ticket Holder Exclusive Pucks that feature what years Heartlanders fans have been Rose Club Members! If you’ve been a Rose Club Member for 3 years, you received three pucks, a unique one for each season. The Heartlanders will continue this tradition in future seasons by handing out a puck each year for those that renew their Rose Club Membership, and those that become new Rose Club Members. There’s still time to get your hands on this commemorative puck for 2023-24 by becoming a Heartlanders Rose Club Member or corporate partner!
- The reveal of the Heartlanders new Season Ticket Holder Referral Program: the Rose Club Member that refers the most ticket buyers each month will receive a special prize and the Season Ticket Holder that refers the most for the season will get an even bigger gift thanks to the Heartlanders.Opportunity to meet the full team before the rest of the community, including time to have players sign apparel and take photos.
- Head Coach Derek Damon announced Kevin McKernan was named Captain a day before it was made public.
- Insight from Heartlanders President Matt Getz about the positive direction of the team that hasn’t been made public yet
