Coralville, Iowa - The Iowa Heartlanders acquired forward Adam Goodsir from Worcester Tuesday, completing a future considerations trade from Aug. 14, 2023 in which Iowa traded forward Zach White to the Railers.
Goodsir, an Okemos, MI native, is in his first full season with the Railers and has one goal and three points in eight games. Last season, he posted NCAA-career-highs of 15 goals and 34 points (2nd on team in both goals and points) in 35 games for Long Island University.
Before LIU, Goodsir skated four seasons for Michigan State, where he was coached by current Heartlanders Associate Coach and Assistant General Manager Joe Exter.
At the NCAA level, Goodsir played five seasons and tallied 21 goals and 52 points in 166 games (149 PIM).
From 2016-18, the 6-foot, 194-lb, left-handed shot skated for USHL Tri-City and captained the Storm in 2016-17.
Iowa is home three times against Utah this week. On Wed., Nov. 15, it’s Field Trip Day pres. by MidAmerican Energy Company, with a special 10:35 a.m. puck drop.
