Hunter Jones reassigned to Iowa Wild

Coralville, Iowa - Goaltender Hunter Jones has been reassigned to the Iowa Wild from the Iowa Heartlanders by the Minnesota Wild, Head Coach and General Manager Derek Damon announced Tuesday. 

Jones, a fourth-year professional from Brantford, ON, has won 16 games in his Heartlanders career, including a career-best 11 last season. 

With the Iowa Wild, Jones has a career record of 11-15-3 (3.47 GAA, .887 save percentage, 2 SO) in 29 games.

Iowa is home three times against Utah next week. On Wed., Nov. 15, it’s Field Trip Day pres. by MidAmerican Energy Company, with a special 10:35 a.m. puck drop. Tickets to any section (excluding club and suites) are $10.35 when using this link. The Heartlanders host the Grizzlies again for Military Appreciation Night pres. by GreenState Credit Union on Fri., Nov. 17 at 6:35 p.m. and then complete the six-game homestand on Sat., Nov. 18 vs. Utah at 7:05 p.m.
