Coralville, Iowa - The Iowa Heartlanders, proud ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild and Iowa Wild, announced Saturday forward Louie Boudon has been recalled from loan by the Iowa Wild.
Boudon has scored two goals and seven points in seven games with the Heartlanders this season (+2 rating). In his ECHL career, he's scored ten points (3g) in ten games.
The Iowa Wild signed Boudon to an AHL contract for the 2023-24 season last March following an impressive NCAA career at Lake Superior State University. In four seasons at Lake Superior State, the left-handed shot scored 114 points in 139 games (39g). He led the Lakers in points his final two seasons on campus and ranked ninth nationally as a junior with 44 points.
He became the first France native to play for Iowa when he joined the Heartlanders in Mar. 2023 (Grenoble, France native).
The Iowa Heartlanders oppose the Utah Grizzlies in the finale of a six-game homestand Saturday at 7:05 p.m. The Heartlanders have won five straight games, the second-best streak in team history (7 games, 2021-22).
Saturday’s game features special Black & Gold ticket prices; come to the game wearing black and gold and receive a walk-up ticket for the price of a group ticket.
Iowa is next at home Dec. 15-17 vs. Toledo.
