Need to know: Heartlanders Fan Appreciation Night Apr. 13

Coralville, Iowa – The Heartlanders take on the Kansas City Mavericks in the final home game of the regular season on Saturday, April 13th at 6:05 pm. Here’s what you need to know if you’re visiting Xtream Arena.

Pregame Tailgate

  • When: The Heartlanders will host a tailgate from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at the Xtream Arena plaza outside the main entrance. UPDATE: The City of Coralville has approved that a part of E. 2nd Street will be closed on Saturday as the team prepares of the tailgate! Make sure to get your tickets to the game and join us for the pregame tailgate! 
  • What: The tailgate will feature games, food trucks and beverages for sale by Aramark. Plus prizes and giveaways (see full list below) 
  • Where: If this is your first time visiting Xtream Arena, the tailgate will be held just outside the main entrance. Enter Xtream Arena – 200 E 9th St Suite 100, Coralville, IA, 52241 – to easily find the tailgate.
  • Parking for the tailgate: If attending the tailgate, fans are encouraged to park at the North Ramp Parking Lot if arriving before 4:00 p.m.
  • Giveaways at the Tailgate: Every 15 minutes during the tailgate, the team will draw winners for a handful of notable game day experiences, such as Zamboni rides, penalty box buddies, blue line buddies and shoot-to-win on the ice. Register to win game day experiences here before the tailgate

Enter the arena at 5:00 pm: The pregame festivities outside the arena will carry over with tremendous energy inside the building when doors open at 5:00 pm. Also, make sure to pick up Bam-Bam noisemakers, presented by Storey Kenworthy, when you enter the arena to make some noise for the Landers. 

 

Bag Policy: Xtream Arena will implement a clear bag policy for all ticketed events.  A clear 12” x 6” x 12” bag or smaller will be permitted as well as small clutch style purses or wallets. Patrons will be asked to return any bag that does not meet this criteria to their vehicle prior to entry. Diaper bags or medical bags are allowed to exceed that size limit, but will be searched. This policy is subject to change based on a show's request. Please see image below for referene to bag policy.

Handicapped Accessible Seating: Handicap accessible seating is available at various locations throughout Xtream Arena and for those ticketed events happening at GreenState Family Fieldhouse. Handicap seating is available to the patron with the disability and one guest. To purchase handicap accessible seating, please email xtreamarenatickets@oakviewgroup.com.

 

 

Get to your seats by 5:55 pm: We encourage all fans to be your seats ten minutes before puck drop to see a special pregame show exclusive to our Apr. 13 game. The Heartlanders will provide you with a never-before-seen experience to get you fired up for the game against Kansas City as the team takes the ice.

 

Puck drop: In addition to the fast-paced, heart-pumping experience of watching an ECHL hockey game, there will be so many other exciting things going on in the arena that you won’t want to leave your seats. The team will be giving away dozens of bags full of Heartlanders goodies during stoppages in play and other special prizes as the game goes on.

 

Additionally, exclusive to April 13th, the Heartlanders are offering 15% off select items at the Heartlanders Team Store, and White Primary Logo Replica Jerseys will be on sale for $100. 

 

Postgame: For fans wishing to bid on game-worn jerseys, winners of each players’ jersey will be able to have a special postgame meet-and-greet with the player whose jersey they won. Make sure to check in at the customer service table when you enter the arena for more information. A game-worn jersey is an awesome way to secure a unique piece of Heartlanders memorabilia.
