Forward Parker Aucoin had an impressive start to his career with Idaho and Atlanta to end the 2023-24 season.

Raabe is entering his third professional season and Iowa acquired him in February in a trade with Utah. With the Heartlanders, he tallied four goals and eight points in 12 games. Between the two squads, he combined for seven goals and 21 points in 45 games (40 PIM). In two seasons as a professional, the 5-foot-9, 170-lb., left-handed shot has registered 18 goals and 64 points (110 GP).

AuCoin completed his collegiate career at Carleton University (USports) in February, then scored eight goals and 15 points in 21 games split between Idaho and Atlanta. The left-handed shot led Canadian college hockey with 24 goals (33 points) in 24 games two years ago.

Quotables

Head Coach & General Manager Derek Damon: “Dakota played well for us in the second half and showed the kind of buy-in we need to help our young players develop. He’s a good player in this league, willing to be hard on the forecheck and get to the tough areas of the ice to make things happen. He also went on two playoff runs in Utah, including to the Western Conference Finals a few years ago. We feel like Dakota is poised for a great season with us.

Parker is a nice acquisition for our team. He proved he belonged the final few months of the season playing for Idaho and then Atlanta. He’s got a good shot and going back to his time in juniors he’s demonstrated that he knows how to put the puck in the net. This is a key summer for him getting ready for his first full season of pro hockey and we’re excited he’s continuing his journey in the Heartland.”

Raabe, 27, played four NCAA seasons with Michigan and one with Sacred Heart from 2017-22. In 149 NCAA games, he generated 13 goals and 41 points (55 PIM, +3 rating).

AuCoin, 26, recorded 20 points (11g) in 28 games for Carleton last season. He stands 6-foot and weighs 200 pounds. From 2015-19, AuCoin skated in the WHL with the Tri-City Americans and amassed 180 points (88g) in 262 games. In 2018-19, AuCoin was fifth in the league with 42 goals.
