Founding Heartlanders front office member Uphoff accepts new position in eastern Iowa

Coralville, Iowa – The Iowa Heartlanders announced Molly Uphoff, the team’s Director of Ticket Operations & Analytics, has accepted a new, local position in eastern Iowa.  Her last day with the organization will be September 4^th.  

Uphoff has been a key member of the Heartlanders front office since the beginning. She was the first employee hired in Heartlanders history. Throughout her time with the team, she has been in multiple sales and ticketing roles and excelled at each. 

“There are few ways to put into words what this organization has meant to me,” Uphoff said. “Having the opportunity to come to a new organization and build it from the beginning has given me the blessing of so many lifelong memories and friendships. I’m grateful for all the people that have helped make my time with the team a special one. Though this is bittersweet, I’m also so grateful to be able to continue to live in eastern Iowa in my new position. I will always be a Heartlander for life.”

“One of the things we have frequently heard from our fans is that Molly has gone above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer service, regardless of the situation,” Heartlanders President Matt Getz said. “She’s been such a valuable part of this organization since Day 1, and more importantly, she’s one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. We will miss her dearly, but wish her the absolute best in her new role.”

Originally from Franklin Grove, IL, Uphoff began working in the ECHL in 2017 with the Florida Everblades before joining the Heartlanders in 2021. 

The Heartlanders salute Molly’s outstanding contributions to the organization over her 3+ years with the team and are thrilled that she has made eastern Iowa her home!
