Coralville, Iowa - The Iowa Heartlanders, proud ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild and Iowa Wild, announced three transactions Tuesday.
- Defenseman Will Zmolek has been recalled to the Iowa Wild.
- Defenseman Louka Henault has signed a PTO wth the Iowa Wild, his first-ever regular season call-up to the AHL.
- The Heartlanders acquired defenseman Andrew McLean from Norfolk for future considerations.
Zmolek, 25, generated one assist in two games with the Heartlanders last weekend. He is in his second professional season and first with Iowa.
Henault, 23, is in his second season with the Heartlanders and has one point in two games this campaign. Last year, he produced 15 assists in 49 games with the Heartlanders.
McLean, 29, registered an assist with Norfolk to open the season in two games against Adirondack. He is coming off a career year with Norfolk in which he led Admirals defenseman with 33 points and had a career-best eight goals.
