Weekly Release: Heartlanders Home Twice This Week

The Iowa Heartlanders are on the road on Tuesday in Kansas City to start a busy week before returning home this weekend for back-to-back games against the Wichita Thunder on Friday and Saturday. Iowa plays four times this week and is back on the road for an afternoon matchup against the Bloomington Bison Sunday. 

Iowa won their only game last week against Bloomington, 4-2. Iowa's Saturday attendance was the most-scanned tickets into the building ever for a November home game at Xtream Arena. 

On the ice, the Heartlanders are 4-3-1-0, good for nine points and third in the Central Division.

• Friday, Nov. 15 is HAWK-EY Night: Show your Hawkeye Pride! Join us for an energetic night in support of the Black & Gold. Join us on November 15th at 7:00 p.m. for an energetic night against the Wichita Thunder. Go Hawks!
• Saturday, Nov. 16 is Hard Hats on Ice night, pres. by Built By Pros and Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Building Trades Council: Join us for another matchup against the Wichita Thunder at 6:00 p.m. and celebrate the workers who build our community at Hard Hats on Ice! The game will include a tribute and special recognitions for the dedicated workers who are truly the backbone of eastern Iowa. 
• Since joining the team on Oct. 30, forward Gavin Hain has seven points (2g, 5a) in four games played. He is currently on a three-game point streak. 
• Looking forward, the Heartlanders play the Bloomington Bison six games in a row between Nov. 17 and Dec. 1. This is the most consecutive games Iowa has ever played against an opponent.
