Coralville, Iowa – William Rousseau earned his second shutout of the season with 41 saves and the Iowa Heartlanders shut out the Toledo Walleye, 2-0, Wednesday morning at Xtream Arena. The Heartlanders have won six straight games, a season high.
The Heartlanders set the team’s Best Field Trip Ever Day scanned attendance record; just under 1,400 area school kids attended the game for a fun and educational day of hockey. Friday at 7:00 p.m. is Teddy Bear Toss Night, pres. by Atlantic Bottling, where the Heartlanders encourage fans to help break the team record for highest scanned attendance in any Teddy Bear Toss game.
