Weekly Release: Heartlanders on the road, face Toledo and Indy

The Iowa Heartlanders are on the road for three games this week against Central Division foes. On Wednesday, Iowa faces the Toledo Walleye for a morning matchup at 9:35 a.m. On Friday and Saturday, the Heartlanders take on the Indy Fuel, with both games at 6:00 p.m.

 

Last week, the Heartlanders finished a six-game stretch against the Bloomington Bison with two wins at home. 

 

Iowa went 2-1-0-0 last week, bringing their season record to 9-5-3-0. The Heartlanders have 21 points and are tied for second in the Central Division. 



 

Need to know:

The Heartlanders shut out the Bison, 5-0, on Sunday, Dec. 1. They scored five goals in the second, matching the most goals scored in a single period in team history. This is their second shutout of the season, a team record for most shutouts in a single season.

Iowa is back at home on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 10:30 a.m. vs. Toledo for The Best Field Trip Ever, presented by Mid-American Energy Company a day of interactive learning and fun for students in local school districts in eastern Iowa. Look forward to educational activities, demonstrations and a memorable experience that combines excitement with valuable knowledge in a dynamic and immersive environment.
