Coralville, Iowa – The Iowa Heartlanders (18-11-3-1, 40 points) host the Indy Fuel (14-13-2-2, 32 points) on Dash’s Birthday Party Saturday at 6:00 p.m. The teams play twice this weekend at Xtream Arena.
The Heartlanders have won three games in a row.
Saturday is the second of six straight home games for the Heartlanders. The homestand runs through Jan. 19, when Iowa concludes a three-in-three vs. Tahoe.
Friday, Iowa scored three times in the first, part of a four-consecutive-goal run, and bested Kalamazoo, 4-3. Indy is coming off a loss at home vs. Wheeling, 4-1.
The Heartlanders are second in the Central Division. Indy is fourth in the Central Division.

- Keanan Stewart scored his first of the season Friday, assisted by Nico Blachman. T.J. Walsh scored his team-leading 1th of the season.
- Will Calverley scored Friday to match a career high in points (21).
- This is the fourth time this season Iowa has won at least three straight games.
Last Time Out
The Heartlanders put the pedal to the metal late in the first, scoring three times in the final six minutes of the frame, and outlasted the Kalamazoo Wings, 4-3, Friday at Xtream Arena.
Kyle McClellan made 25 saves for his second straight win.
Keanan Stewart, T.J. Walsh, Jonny Sorenson and Will Calverley scored for the Landers.
Season Series vs. Indy
The Heartlanders have defeated the Fuel in their first two games this season. Iowa has won each by one, recording a 4-3 win on December 6th, and a 2-1 overtime win at Fishers Event Center on December 7th. Both wins were in come-from-behind fashion.
A handful of players have two points against Indy to lead Iowa, including captain Yuki Miura and alternate captain Will Calverley.
Andrew McLean (2 points) had the overtime-winning goal vs. Indy Dec. 7.
