The Iowa Heartlanders are back at home after a weekend road trip and host the Kalamazoo Wings three times Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Friday at 7:00 p.m. is Educator Appreciation Night, pres. by MidWestOne Bank. Iowa continues the homestand with Women in Sports Night, pres. by the Iowa City Area Sports Commission, on Saturday at 6:00 p.m.. On Sunday at 3:00 p.m., Iowa finishes up the series with an afternoon matchup.
Before Saturday's game, the Heartlanders will host a Hockey 101 Session from 2:00-3:00 p.m., featuring Heartlanders players and coaches. At the game, meet two players PWHL's Minnesota Frost: Mellissa Chennell-Watkins and Sophie Jacques will be in attendance!
The Heartlanders are coming off a split two-game series against the Toledo Walleye, who are currently ranked first in the Central Division.
Over the weekend, Iowa went 1-2-0-0, bringing their record for the year to 22-13-4-2, good for 50 points and third in the Central Division.
