Coralville, Iowa - Iowa Heartlanders forward Nico Blachman has signed an AHL PTO with the Iowa Wild, the teams announced Tuesday. This marks Blachman's first PTO since joining the Heartlanders. This season, the 6-foot-2, 190-lb., right-handed shot has tied a career high with five goals (9 pts.) and leads the ECHL with 173 penalty minutes.
The Heartlanders start a four-game homestand Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. vs. Cincinnati.
Now in his fourth full ECHL season, the Aventura, FL native has scored 13 goals, 27 points and generated 740 PIM in his career.
