Know Before You Go Guide For Home Games
Coralville, Iowa – The Iowa Heartlanders (22-14-4-3, 51 points) take on the Kalamazoo Wings (16-22-1-1, 34 points) for the third time in as many days Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Xtream Arena. Before the game and through first intermission, grab $2 Hot Dogs, $2 Fountain Sodas (12 OZ) and a $2 Small Bag of Popcorn. After the game, there will be a post-game skate, presented by The Family Dental Center.
The weekend series started with a shootout loss, 7-6, Friday night. Despite the loss, the Heartlanders outshot the Wings, 45-34, and extended their home point streak to eight games, tying a team record. On Saturday, Kalamazoo scored three goals in the second period and won, 6-1. It marked Iowa’s first regulation loss at home in over a month.
The Heartlanders are third in the Central Division. The Wings are seventh in the Central Division.

Home Record in 2025
The Heartlanders earned at least one point in all seven home games played in the month of January, going 4-0-1-2 at home through the first month of the year.
On Saturday, the Wings snapped Iowa’s eight-game home points streak dating back to Dec. 13.
Iowa has lost four games in regulation at home this season.
Calverley success
Will Calverley leads the team with a career-high 29 points (11g, 18a) and is currently on a four-game point streak, earning three goals and two assists over that stretch. Calverley assisted on Iowa’s lone goal Saturday.
Last year, Calverley earned 21 points (8g, 13a) in 39 games with the Heartlanders.
Upcoming schedule
The Heartlanders are on the road next week, starting with a game against the Cincinnati Cyclones on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 6:35 p.m. This will be the fourth of nine games Iowa will play against Cincinnati this season.
On Friday and Saturday, Iowa opposes the Wings again in Kalamazoo. Iowa plays Kalamazoo five times in the month of February.
