Coralville, Iowa - Head Coach and General Manager Derek Damon announced the Iowa Heartlanders have acquired forward Keltie Jeri-Leon from Savannah for future considerations. Additionally, the Heartlanders have traded defenseman Hakon Nilsen to Jacksonville for future considerations.
A fourth-year pro, Jeri-Leon has registered double-digit goal seasons in his first three ECHL campaigns. This season, he has seven goals and ten points with Savannah.
Iowa would like to thank Hakon for all he's done for the Heartlanders and welcome Keltie to the Heartland!
The Heartlanders visit Cincinnati Wednesday at 6:35 p.m., then visit Kalamazoo for a pair of games Friday at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday at 6:00 p.m. The Heartlanders start a three-game homestand Feb. 12 at 7:00 p.m. vs. Cincinnati.
