Cincinnati, OH – The Iowa Heartlanders (28-16-4-3, 63 points) begin a ten-game road trip against the Cincinnati Cyclones (19-25-7-0, 45 points) Friday at 6:35 p.m. at the Heritage Bank Center. The Heartlanders finished a four-game homestand Wednesday with a 4-1 win against Bloomington. Iowa went 3-1-0-0 over the homestand.
Iowa's lone loss over the homestand came vs. Cincinnati on Feb. 12.
In the Heartlanders' Wednesday win, Iowa scored four unanswered goals for a come-from-behind win, 4-1. Kyle Masters, Ryan Miotto, and Gavin Hain all recorded multiple points in the win, Kyle McClellan made 16 saves and Iowa outshot Bloomington 32-17.
The Heartlanders are second in the Central Division, one point ahead of Fort Wayne. Cincinnati is sixth in the Central Division, but only two points back of Indy for fourth.
