Coralville, Iowa - The Iowa Heartlanders announced two roster moves Wednesday.
Forward Nathan Noel has signed a PTO with the AHL's Iowa Wild. It's his first AHL recall of the season.
The Heartlanders have traded forward Brandon Yeamans to the Norfolk Admirals, completing a future considerations trade from October in which the Heartlanders acquired defenseman Andrew McLean from Norfolk.
Noel, a former 4th round pick by the Chicago Blackhawks (2016 NHL Draft), is in his seventh professional season. He played parts of three seasons for the Rockford IceHogs from 2017-20. This season, the right-handed shot has scored one goal and four points in nine games with the Heartlanders (53 PIM, +1 rating).
Yeamans has tallied four goals, eight points and 98 penalty minutes with the Heartlanders in 41 games this season. McLean, acquired in October, has starred for the Heartlanders on the blue line with with a team-best +24 rating along with 16 points (2g) in 44 games.
