Coralville, Iowa – The Iowa Heartlanders (26-16-4-3, 59 points) face off against the Toledo Walleye (31-11-6-0, 68 points) Saturday at 6:00 p.m. for Stick it to Cancer Night.
Friday, the Heartlanders scored a go-ahead power-play goal from Ryan Miotto in the final six minutes and defeated the Walleye, 4-2. Will Calverley opened the scoring in a back-and-forth game. T.J. Walsh scored twice, including an empty-net goal in the final minute. Iowa has beaten Toledo four times this season, the most ever in a single season by the Heartlanders. Toledo had their season-best six-game winning streak and eight-game point streak foiled Friday.
The Heartlanders are second in the Central Division and the Toledo Walleye are first in the Central Division.

The Heartlanders have two games left against Toledo in the season series and are 4-2-0-1 against the Walleye this season.
Six of the seven games have been one-goal games or tied in the third period, with the lone exception Dec. 13 at Xtream Arena. Iowa won the first two games of the series.
Both teams have two come-from-behind wins.
The season series concludes at the Huntington Center next Sunday, Feb. 23.
Homestand ends next Wednesday
The Heartlanders conclude a four-game homestand next Wednesday, Feb. 19 vs. Bloomington, and then have a season-high ten straight road games upcoming from Feb. 21 – Mar. 15. The ten straight road games matches a team record, set last season.
Following that stretch, Iowa then sets a team record with ten straight at home from Mar. 21 – Apr. 12.
