Boscq earns first AHL call-up to Iowa Wild

Coralville, Iowa - Defenseman Jules Boscq has signed a PTO with the Iowa Wild, Iowa Heartlanders Head Coach and General Manager Derek Damon announced Tuesday. This is the first AHL call up of Boscq's career.  He leads Heartlanders defensemen with seven goals and 26 points this season. 

Boscq is the 14th player recalled from the Heartlanders to the the Iowa Wild this season, the most in a single season in Heartlanders history. In the last two seasons, 27 players have been recalled to the Iowa Wild from the Heartlanders.

The left-handed shot is 23 years old and is a Bordeaux, France native. This is his second year in the ECHL but his fifth professional season. He played the first three seasons of his professional career in Ligue Magnus, the top pro league in France. He has also represented France multiple times on the international stage, including in 2022-23 at the World Championships where he was named a top-three player on Team France.
