Coralville, Iowa – The postseason-bound Iowa Heartlanders (34-21-7-4, 79 points) oppose the Norfolk Admirals (37-23-6-1, 81 points) Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
The Heartlanders and Admirals are playing for the second straight day and second time this season.
Friday, the Heartlanders overcame a late third-period deficit and Keltie Jeri-Leon won it three minutes into overtime for a 4-3 victory. Ryan McGuire tied the game on the power play to force overtime, scored twice and now has three goals in his first two pro games.
The Heartlanders sit third in the Central Division. Norfolk is third in the North Division.

Koster debuts
Defenseman Mike Koster made his professional debut Friday vs. Norfolk and earned an assist on Iowa’s tying goal in the third period.
Koster signed first pro deal with Heartlanders after producing four goals, 20 points and +9 rating for the University of Minnesota. The 5-foot-10, 190-lb., left-handed shot was a two-time Captain at Minnesota his last two seasons on campus, led the Golden Gophers to five straight NCAA tournament appearances and two Frozen Fours, and won three B1G championships at Minnesota.
Koster was drafted in 5th round, 146th overall by Toronto at 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
A notable figure
Friday, Norfolk became the first team from the Eastern Conference to ever visit Xtream Arena. Wheeling had previously visited Coralville when they were in the Central Division. This season, Iowa visited the Nailers for a pair of games at Wesbanco Arena in December. There are 14 teams in the Eastern Conference.
Meanwhile, every Central Division opponent (plus Wichita and Tahoe) visit Xtream Arena this season.
