Need To Know:

- The Heartlanders are six points back of Fort Wayne in the Central Division.

- Forward Ryan McGuire scored in his pro debut Sunday vs. Wichita.

- Iowa has six more home games (and seven overall) left this regular season.

This is What Dreams are Made of

Ryan McGuire netted his first professional goal in his debut against Wichita and tied the game with seven minutes to go.

McGuire played three years at Colgate University, leading the team in the 2023-24 season with 14 goals. The Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, QC native played his final NCAA year (2024-25) at Northeastern University, recording four goals, three assists and seven points.

Miotto Drives the Charge

Ryan Miotto opened up the scoring for the Heartlanders against Wichita last Sunday, earning his 18th goal and 36th point of the season leading the charge for a late rally in the overtime loss.

Miotto’s goal came 21 seconds into the third period to shift momentum and was the quickest goal by the Heartlanders to open a period this regular season.

Despite that being Miotto’s only March goal, he finished third on the team with 28 shots on goal in ten games.
