Coralville, Iowa – The Iowa Heartlanders (35-24-7-4, 81 points) have SOLD OUT Xtream Arena for Fan Appreciation Night, pres. by United Iowa Financial, against the Cincinnati Cyclones (28-32-11-0, 67 points). Saturday is Iowa’s final regular season home game. The team visits Kalamazoo Sunday to conclude the regular season.
The Heartlanders’ first round schedule is set against the Fort Wayne Komets, which begins at Fort Wayne Apr. 18-19 with Game 1 and Game 2 of the Central Division Semifinals. Iowa has split the first two games with the Cyclones this week. In Iowa’s last game Friday, the Heartlanders overcame a pair of deficits, Will Calverley scored twice and Ryan McGuire netted the overtime winner for a 4-3 victory.
The Heartlanders are third in the Central Division with 81 points and the Cyclones have 67 points for sixth in the Central Division.

The Heartlanders are 12-19-1-0 all-time against Cincinnati. Iowa is 6-5-0-0 when facing the Cyclones at home. This year, Iowa has split the season series 4-4-0-0 against Cincinnati.
Last year, Iowa went 5-3-1-0 against Cincinnati, their best season record against the Cyclones. If Iowa wins Saturday, it would be the second time ever the team has won the season series vs. Cincinnati.

The City of Coralville formally recognized the 2024-25 Iowa Heartlanders for making the 2025 Kelly Cup Playoffs Tuesday, Apr. 8 at the Coralville City Council Meeting. Head Coach Derek Damon, Heartlanders captain Yuki Miura and Heartlanders fans were in attendance as the city to celebrate our first-ever playoff berth!
