The Iowa Heartlanders are headed to the Kelly Cup Playoffs and finish up the regular season this week with three homes games and one on the road. On Wednesday at 7:00 p.m., the Heartlanders have their first game of the week against the Cincinnati Cyclones. Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m. on Friday for Field of Dreams Night against the Cyclones. Saturday is Fan Appreciation Night: don’t miss the last pregame party of the year from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Iowa River Landing outside Xtream Arena before a 6:00 p.m. game against the Cyclones.
On Sunday at 2:00 p.m., the Heartlanders are on the road taking on Kalamazoo for their final game of the regular season.
The Heartlanders go into the week 34-23-7-4, good for 79 points and third in the Central Division. Iowa is locked in to playing Fort Wayne in the first round. Iowa will either be the 2-seed or the 3-seed. Iowa must win out and have Fort Wayne lose their final three games in regulation to be the second seed.
