Coralville, Iowa - The Iowa Heartlanders announced the completion of one future considerations trade Friday.
Defenseman Chris Lipe has been traded to the Savannah Ghost Pirates, completing a future considerations trade from Feb. 5, 2025 in which the Heartlanders acquired forward Keltie Jeri-Leon.
Jeri-Leon led the Heartlanders with four goals and six points in the Kelly Cup Playoffs and generated 20 points (6g) in 26 games with Iowa in the regular season.
Lipe played in parts of three seasons with the Heartlanders, compiling 17 points (6g) in 126 games (35 PIM, -1 rating).
