Coralville, Iowa - The Iowa Heartlanders have acquired defenseman Ty Gibson from Wichita for future considerations, Head Coach & General Manager Chuck Weber announced Friday.
A 22-year-old native of Victoria, BC, Gibson is starting his second professional season. He registered nine assists with Adirondack in 59 games last season.
The Heartlanders open the regular season on Open Season, presented by GreenState Credit Union, Friday at 7:00 p.m.
