Coralville, Iowa - The Iowa Heartlanders, proud ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild and Iowa Wild, have signed forwards John Lundy, Matthew Argentina and Jack Collins to ECHL contracts.
Lundy signed just before puck drop in Iowa's last game Saturday vs. Fort Wayne, and will be on the Heartlanders roster as the team prepares for a home weekend against Indy Apr. 10-12. Lundy, 24, finished his collegiate career at Ferris State this season and compiled five goals and 11 points. In his previous three seasons at American International College, the Brooklyn, NY native reached double-digit goals in a season twice (2023-24 and 2024-25).
Argentina, 23, skated for Boston College (2021-23) and Northern Michigan (2024-26) over four collegiate seasons. This season, the native of Philadelphia, PA collected four goals and ten points for NMU and played in a career-best 34 games. Argentina is a former Waterloo Black Hawk (2019-21).
Collins, 24, stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 220 pounds. This season at UMass-Lowell, he posted one goal and two penalty minutes in 15 games. Prior to his four-season career for the River Hawks, Collins, a Canton, NY native, played three seasons with Lone Star in the NAHL.
