Heartlanders continue to grow front office, announce new positions

Coralville, Iowa – The Iowa Heartlanders will continue to expand the team’s front office this season and announced a handful of new positions that are available immediately: a Group Sales Account Executive (full-time) and a Business Analytics Intern (Spring 2024).

“During my first 4 months with the Iowa Heartlanders, I’ve spent a great deal of time evaluating the work our staff is responsible for, as well as what we need to accomplish in order to achieve the goals we have in mind,” said President Matt Getz. “After a thorough review of the gaps that exist between those two, we’ve determined that we need to grow our sales department, as well as create an analytics program that will allow us to make strong business decisions based on confirmed data. We’ll also have a few more positions to announce in the next few weeks that we’re very excited about, including a revamped internship program for the 2024-25 season. As we review candidates for these positions, it’s imperative that we find the RIGHT people to join our team. Excellence is a by-product of the culture, and that’s what we’re focused on building here.”

Among the Heartlanders successes this season, the team has had a higher average attendance thru December on weekend dates this season than it has had each of the first two seasons in team history. The Heartlanders are grateful for the support from our community and are excited to continue building our team and front office in the 2024 calendar year!

Iowa continues a seven-game road trip with back-to-back games at Fort Wayne Sat., Jan. 6 at 6:30 p.m. and Sun., Jan. 7 at 4:00 p.m.

The Heartlanders are next at home Mon., Jan. 15 at 2:05 p.m. vs. Cincinnati – schools are off for the day and bring your kids out for a great day at Xtream Arena. Tickets in the seating bowl are $15 for every section!

Iowa continues a three-game homestand vs. Wheeling on Fri., Jan. 19 at 6:35 p.m. on Affiliation Night presented by DASH Auctions, celebrating Iowa’s proud affiliation with the Minnesota Wild and Iowa Wild. On Sat., Jan. 20 at 6:05 p.m. against Wheeling, the Heartlanders are back at Xtream Arena for Dash’s Birthday Party, presented by Paul Park Real Estate. Join the Heartlanders mascot Dash and dozens of his mascot friends for a family-friendly Saturday night at Xtream Arena. On the 20^th, youth tickets for the game are $5 with the purchase of an adult ticket.
